Fred Gunther

Fred Gunther is the owner and Broker of Gunther Properties, which he launched in 2006 after working ten years in the real estate industry.

Fred has been instrumental in the growth and development of downtown Pensacola. Before launching Gunther Properties, he partnered with architect Scott Sallis and the City of Pensacola to develop The Lofts on Intendencia, which created much-needed professional housing downtown and increased tax revenue for the city. Since then he has served as Chairman of the City of Pensacola’s Zoning Board of Adjustments for several years and is currently a Trustee and Officer of the Community Maritime Park Associates Board.

In addition to being owner/broker of Gunther Properties, Fred holds the designation of Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). This distinction notes recognized experts in the commercial and investment real estate industry who are also part of a global commercial real estate network with members across North America and more than thirty countries. Of the estimated 150,000 commercial real estate practitioners in North America, 9,000 hold the CCIM designation.

Fred has also been a member of NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, since 2007. NAIOP is the leading organization for developers, owner and investors of office, industrial, retail and mixed-use real estate.

After earning his Real Estate License, Fred Gunther launched began his career as a Broker/Associate with Baars Realty where he worked from 1997-2006. Fred lives in Pensacola, FL with his wife and son.
